interesting layout from russia :) I thought the nicest touch was how the layout stays the same but the content comes up over the splash page. Im not sure if you can really call it a pop up but thats basically what it does.

This site has some nice gallery effects, it's technically not a portfolio site for graphic design but I think its worth a look. It might inspire your digital portfolio.

I like the transparency and motion in the design of her portfolio. There are some nice logos as well. The background image was a bit risky, but I dont believe it fights for too much attention after you start clicking.
